The Canada School of Public Service attracts and recruits instructors and facilitators with a wealth of knowledge and experience on all aspects of public service administration. They deliver efficient and effective training to meet your needs and help you better serve Canadians.

Distinguished Fellows

Distinguished Fellows are former Deputy Ministers or Assistant Deputy Ministers who bring their broad range of public service experience to the Executive Leadership Development programs. Whether as panel members or moderators of group discussions, advisors of action learning groups or mentors to individual participants, Distinguished Fellows help facilitate reflection and assist senior executives in meeting the demands and realities of today's public service.

Faculty members

The School's faculty members are selected from among the best of the public service to provide School learners with a broad range of public service-related experience and expertise. With years of best practices and "lessons learned," our instructors combine relevant, on-the-job experience with practical, learner-centred training to assist fellow public servants in meeting the demands and realities of today's public service.

Visiting scholars

Visiting scholars are given the opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise with public servants on a variety of topics, and to offer their perspectives towards meeting the present and future needs of Canadians. Visiting scholars will also gain valuable experience by working for the federal government through hands-on practice regarding how their host department and the federal government operate.
