Navigating the Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations

Description

As of January 1, 2021, all federal departments are required to implement prevention and resolution processes and tools in accordance with new Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations.

This informative event will showcase some of the tools developed by the National Joint Council of the Public Service of Canada and other organizations to support the implementation of the new regulations.

The event is intended for employees at all levels as well as departmental designated recipients, health and safety committee members and representatives, and bargaining agents. Participants will learn more about their roles and responsibilities, the new tools and how to use them, and how to better navigate the changes to the prevention and resolution processes.

Presented in partnership with the National Joint Council, the event features speakers from both union and employer perspectives and includes the participation of subject matter experts from Health Canada's Employee Assistance Services (EAS), and Employment and Social Development Canada's (ESDC) Labour Program.
