Advancing Employment Opportunities for People with Disabilities: Recruiting New Talent

Description

All employees have a role to play in removing barriers to employment and in helping build an accessible and inclusive public service in Canada.

The first event in this three-part series explores the initiatives in place to improve recruitment outcomes and meet the government's commitment to hire 5,000 new employees with disabilities by 2025. Join in as guest speakers dispel common myths, recount cautionary tales and success stories, and share practical tools and other resources to help hiring managers, human resources specialists, and all public servants achieve this goal.

Advancing Employment Opportunities for People with Disabilities is an event series that focuses on the key stages of the employment journey: recruitment, retention and career advancement. The series is presented in partnership with the National Managers' Community, the Office of Public Service Accessibility, and the Federal Youth Network.
