Report on Plans and Priorities 2014–2015: Greening Government Operations

Greening Government Operations Supplementary Information Table. The first part of the table has three rows, which are: Target 7.2: Green Procurement, Performance Measurement and Expected Result. The next section is divided into two columns with the following sub-headings: Performance Indicator and Targeted Performance Level. The next two sections list a departmental green procurement target in the first row, with subsequent rows divided into two columns under the sub-headings Performance Indicator and Targeted Performance Level. The last section is divided into two columns: Implementation Strategy Element or Best Practice and Targeted Performance Level.
Target 7.2: Green Procurement
As of April 1, 2014, the Government of Canada will continue to take action to embed environmental considerations into public procurement, in accordance with the federal Policy on Green Procurement.

Departmental Green Procurement Target:
The School will continue to update its internal contracting documents (such as the templates for the Statement of Work, Request for Proposal and Request for Standing Offer) to ensure that up-to-date environmental considerations are included.

7.2.1.5. Leverage common use procurement instruments where available and feasible. The School is seeking to reach "Achieved" status, as defined in the Greening Government Operations implementation guidelines for this target area.
7.2.4. Increase awareness of the Policy on Green Procurement among employees. This will be achieved through information provided using the School's internal broadcast communications vehicles.
